Bank of England - Now open for applications for PhD Internships

The Bank of England is now accepting applications for PhD internships in 2009. The internships are for two to three months, focussing on projects analysing issues relating to monetary policy and/or financial stability.

All fields are considered, although we are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in:

  • monetary economics
  • open-economy macroeconomics and international finance
  • applied econometrics
  • financial economics, including banking theory/regulation, asset pricing and credit risk modelling
  • economics of payment system and networks.
